Lula 'Lou' McCourt WINGROVE

Lula "Lou" Wingrove, 69, of Point Marion R.D. (Winstead), Pa., died Thursday, Oct. 24, 2002, at the home of her daughter in Morgantown, W.Va. 

She was born Sept. 26, 1933, near Webster Springs, W.Va., a daughter of the late Ethel McCourt. 

She retired in 1996, as a supervisor in the housekeeping department of the Health Sciences Center at West Virginia University, where she worked for 21 years. 

Surviving are her husband of 50 years, [Alfred A. Sr.] Andy Wingrove, who she married on June 23, 1952; three children, Alfred A. Wingrove Jr., of New Orleans, La., William Eugene Wingrove of Point Marion, and Debra Wingrove of Morgantown; three grandchildren, Twila Wingrove and Brad and Stacy Chance, all of Morgantown; and a sister, Mary Duckworth of Baltimore, Md. 

Friends will be received in the RICHARD R. HEROD FUNERAL HOME, Point Marion, today from 7 to 9 p.m., on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and on Tuesday until 11 a.m., the hour of service, with the Rev Scott Teets officiating. Interment follows in Cedar Grove Cemetery, New Geneva, Pa.
