Harry F Wingrove

Harry F  "Pappy" Wingrove, 81, of West Leisenring, PA., passed away Sunday, October 14, 2001, in the Uniontown Hospital, Uniontown, PA. 

He was born October 13, 1920, in North Union Township, Fayette County, Pa., son of Charles Wingrove and Mildred French Wingrove. 

He was a graduate of the former North Union High School and was a retired Machinist from Anchor Hocking Glass Corporation in South Connellsville, Pa. 

He was a skilled Violinist known as "Pappy". 

Harry was an avid fisherman. 

His wife of 47 years, Betty Jane WELLING Wingrove, died April 18, 1988. Also deceased are a son, Harry Wingrove, Jr., three grandchildren, Jody Minnick, Kerry, Lee Adenhart. 

He is survived by his children: Lila Jean and her husband William Reed, of West Leisenring; Janet Minnick of Searight, Pa., Cheryl Beatty of Turkeyfoot Road, Pa., Jerry Wingrove and his wife, Barb, of Lemont Furnace, Pa., Loretta Wingrove and her fiancé, Robert Landman, of West Leisenring, and Bonnie and her husband, Donald Miskanin, of West leisenring; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; four brothers and two sisters. 

Friends will be received at the BROOKS FUNERAL HOME INC., 111 East Green Street, Connellsville, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. 

A service will be held in the Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 17, at 11 a.m. with Rev. Dr. Marvin Watson officiating. 

Committal and interment will follow in Green Ridge Memorial Park, Pennsville, Pa.
