Charles "Chuck" Junior Wingrove, 81, a 30-year resident of Warren, died Thursday, July 8, 2004, in Warren. He was born July 23, 1922, in Mount Pleasant Township, Pa.

Mr. Wingrove was self-employed in the trucking business and also was a welder. A veteran of the U.S. Navy, he enjoyed bowling, gardening and old cars.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Rhoda Wingrove; children, Robert (Jean), Judith Clark, Ronald (Janet), Richard (Carol) and Cathy (David) Spaw; 11 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and siblings, Earl (Betty), Betty Piper, Donald, Dolores Robertson and Raymond. He was predeceased by his son-in-law, Dan Clark.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at S.K. Schultz Funeral Home, 21705 Gratiot Ave., Eastpointe, with the Rev. Chester Dundas officiating. Burial will be in Clinton Grove Cemetery, Clinton Township. 
Visitation is 1-9 p.m. Sunday and noon-9 p.m. Monday.
