Billie June (Wingrove) Beard
Went to be with her Lord and Savior December 9, 2003 at the age of 79. She was welcomed into Heaven by the love of her life, her husband of 60 years Otis Ralph Beard, mother Hazel Wingrove and father Edward R. Wingrove. Mrs. Beard was born in Brice Flatts, Texas and grew up in Amarillo where she married Otis on May 23, 1941. They spent their working years in Amarillo and then El Paso, Texas. After retiring they moved to the Pacific Northwest - Gig Harbor, Washington, where they enjoyed being close to a group of loving friends and family. One of Billie's greatest joys was singing. She was a long time and devoted member of the El Paso Sungold Chorus of Sweet Adelines International in El Paso, Texas. She was a loving wife, mother, and homemaker and worked in retail sales and later property management. 

She is survived by her two sons, Otis Richard and wife Sue Beard of Tacoma Washington and Thomas Edward and wife Debbie Beard of Amarillo, Texas, and daughter Toni Ann and husband Charles Reskey of Tacoma, Washington, 8 grandchildren and 8 great grand-children. She is also survived by a brother, Eddie (Pete) and wife Myrna Wingrove of Burnet, Texas. 

The family wishes to thank the staff at Heartwood Care Center in Tacoma and St. Clare Hospital in Lakewood. A celebration of her life will be held in Amarillo, Texas at a future date.
