Age 85 and formerly of 711 S. Telulah Av,
Appleton passed away Saturday. May 24, 2003, at St. Paul Home, Kaukauna
following a short illness. She was born December 18, 1917 in Appleton,
daughter of the late Leonard and Emma (Kirk) Williams and
was a lifetime resident of Appleton. She married Paul Grishaber,
September 3, 1936 at St. Joseph Church sharing 44 years together before
his death November 21, 1980. Prior to her retirement she worked for
Carlyle Schmidt Interiors Decorator. She devoted a great deal of her time
teaching her daughters how to knit and make draperies. She was a member of
Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She enjoyed knitting doll cloths and loved
watching the Packers. Survivors include 3 daughters, 2 sons, l
daughter-in-law and 1 son-in-law: Barbara Stuyvenberg, Kimberly and
her children, April (William) Menting, Kimberly and Kenneth
at home; Patricia (Robert) Seidl, Darboy and their children, Timothy
Seidl, Green Bay, Terry (Renee) Seidl, Darboy, Randy Seidl,
Darboy, and Paula (Mark) Menting, Darboy; James Grishaber,
Appleton and his children, Todd, Appleton, Robin Fletcher,
Dallas, TX; Marguerite Heenan, Appleton and her children, Paul
(Jody) Heenan, Whitby, Canada, Jim Heenan III, Appleton, Michael
(Jennifer) Heenan, Larson and Loni Ann Beyer, Oshkosh; Ronald
(Judy) Grishaber, Appleton, and her daughter Angela Bell; 18
great grandchildren and 3 step-great grandchildren; a sister-in-law: Bernice
Williams, Appleton; 8 sisters-in-law and 2 brothers-in-law: Margaret
(Jerome) Welhouse, Kaukauna; Gertie Gaffney, Kimberly; Louise
Davidson, Appleton, Virginia Grishaber, Milwaukee; Betty
Wingrove, Appleton; Tom (Corrine) Grishaber, Combined
Locks; Margaret Grishaber and Dorothy Grishaber, Appleton;
numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Loretta is also
preceded in death by a son, Kenneth, 1967; son-in-law, Gerald
Stuyvenberg, 1992; grandson, Toby Grishaber, 1965; 2 brothers, Leonard
and Clarence; 3 sisters Leone Davis, Marie Rammer and
Dorothy Menting; her dear god mother Jennie Williams; mother
and father-in-law, Conrad and Theresa Grishaber, nine
brothers-in-law and 2 sisters-in-law; Leo, Arnold, Daniel, and Robert
Grishaber; Harold (Betty) Grishaber, Richard (Gertie) Grishaber,
Nicholas Gaffney, Bernard Davidson and Jack
Wingrove. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated 11 A.M.
Wednesday, May 28, 2003 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with the Rev. Robert
Karuhn officiating. Burial will take place at St. Joseph Cemetery.
Friends may call directly at the church on Wednesday from 9 A.M. until the
time of service. Grandma, we love you and will miss you. Thank you for
always being there for us.
