DONNA SELLERS Shade Donna Jean Sellers, age 61, of Shade passed away early Thursday morning, June 3, 2004 at O’Bleness Memorial Hospital, Athens (Ohio). She was the daughter of the late Wilbur Harley & Carrie Edith Gillian Whaley, born May 21, 1943 at Coolville. Mrs. Sellers was employed as a housekeeper. She attended Shade High School and completed her GED. A longtime resident of Shade, she was a member of Reedsville Nazarene Church. She is survived by her husband, Paul Sellers; two daughters- Jessie Sellers of Shade, and Julia (Bill) Jenne of Guysville; a son Roger (Debra) Sellers of Shade; five grandchildren- Brett McGrath, Shannon McGrath, Justin Trout, Jalen Sellers, and Jeremiah Jenne; three sisters- Louise (George) Staats of Tuppers Plains, Mattie Mae Teaford of Racine, and Evelyn (Frank) Wingrove of Shade; three brothers- Charles (Phyllis) Whaley of Shade, Donald (Donna) Whaley of Coolville, and Paul Whaley & his fiancé Debbie Clark of Albany; and a special friend Brenda (Vernon) Cremeans. Besides her parents she is preceded in death by an infant brother.
Funeral service will be conducted Saturday 1:00PM at Jagers & Sons Funeral Home, Athens, by Rev. James Stewart with burial in Athens Memory Gardens. Friends may call at the funeral home Friday 2-4 and 7-9PM. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, South Central Office, 138 Marietta Road, Suite D, Chillicothe, OH 45601
