at Caressant Care, Courtland, with her family by her side, on Sunday,
October 9, 2005. Muriel Ruth (Wingrove) Jenney, formerly of Langton,
in her 83rd year. Born in North Walsingham Township on November 17, 1922.
Dear daughter of the late Charles Herbert
Wingrove and the former late Erie Elizabeth Roloson.
Life long resident of North Walsingham Township. Served as postal clerk in
Langton for 21 years, retiring in 1986. Past-president and life member of
Langton Women’s Institute receiving her 50 year pin in 2005. Beloved
wife of the late John Wesley Jenney (Jan. 4, 2000). Loving mother
to Joanne Jenney of Richard’s Landing, St. Joseph Island, Robert
(Janet) Jenney of Langton, William (Jennifer) Jenney of
Woodbridge, Virginia, Ruthanne Cameron of Hamilton and Cheryl
Lynn French of Hamilton; and daughter-in-law Joyce Cottrell and
her husband Jim of Tillsonburg. Proud grandma to Laurie Sebok,
Gregory Jenney, Jonathan Jenney, Todd Jenney, Christian French, Alison
Cameron, Andrea Jenney, Liza French, Justin Cameron, Jessica French,
Kathryn Jenney, Joel Cameron, and Mark Jenney. Great-grandma to
Kristopher Sebok, Meg Sebok, Keaghan Jenney, Kira Jenney, Kearnan Jenney
and Nathan Jenney. Predeceased by a son, Larry Charles Jenney (1969),
and a brother, Stewart Wingrove (1995). Resting at VERHOEVE FUNERAL
HOME, 40 Queen St., Langton, where service will be held in the chapel on
Thursday, October 13, 2005, at 11:00 a.m. by Pastor Dale Collier of
Caledonia, Ont. Interment Langton Baptist Cemetery. Memorial donations to
the Alzheimer’s Society of Oxford or charity of your choice would be
appreciated by the family. Visitation Wednesday at 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 p.m.
