Hugh L. Truex Sr.

Hugh Lane Truex Senior., 74, of Yuba City died June 11, 2001, at Live Oak Manor. 

Born in West Virginia, he was a Yuba-Sutter resident for 40 years. He was a striper for the California Department of Transportation. He was a life member of the National Rifle Association and the Twin Cities Rod & Gun Club in Yuba City. 

Survivors include two sons, Myron Truex of Yuba City and Hugh L. Truex Jr. of Penn Valley; his sister, Helen Wingrove of Ohio; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. 

Services: A celebration of his life is scheduled at 1 p.m.
July 14 at 1770 Woodland Drive, Yuba City. Private
Inurement was under the direction of the Ullrey Memorial Chapel.
