JAMES R. ROLSTON

James R Rolston, 81, of Route 3, St. Marys, died Thursday, 
Feb 6 at St. Joseph's Hospital.

Rolston was a veteran of World War II and a member of the 
Farm Bureau and a member and deacon of Willow Island Baptist 
Church.

He was born in Pleasants County, a son of the late Jay and 
Mary Bell Dunn Rolston.

He is survived by his wife, Eleanor Sauer Rolston; three 
sons, James Richard Rolston of Houston, Texas, Claude 
Rolston of St. Marys and Darrell Rolston of Charleston; a 
daughter Charlotte Rolston Lane of Charleston; a sister, 
Eleanor Wingrove of Porterfield; and seven grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by four brothers, Gale Rolston, 
Glen Rolston, Hiram Rolston and Wiley Rolston; and two 
sisters, Cora Fauss and Alice Butts.

The funeral will be at 2pm Saturday at Willow Island Baptist 
Church with Rev. Ron Branch officiating. Burial will be in
Willow Island Cemetery.
