June E. Keith

June E. Keith, 78, Ada, died Saturday, May 17, 2003 at the Mennonite Memorial Home in Bluffton.



She was born May 22, 1924 in Harrod to Alonzo and Nell (Clausen) Rex.

She married Russel Keith on August 26, 1940 and he died March 27, 1992.



Survivors include one son, Russel Rex (Terry) Keith of Zebulon, N.C.; three daughters: Marilyn J. (John) Bernhardt of Sanford, N.C., Gwen A. Moore of Zanesville and Beverly J. (Michael) Lenhart of Ada; 10 grandchildren: Angela (Ryan) Simon, Joshua (Abby) Lenhart, Emily Lenhart, Tori (Jim) Miller, Stephanie Keith, Brian Keith, Timothy (Cathy) Bernhardt, Terri (Jeff) Tonges, Mindi (David) Wingrove, Kelli Bernhardt and 12 great-grandchildren.

We love you from all of your Punkininnies, Rosebuds, Lambchops, Snicklefritzes and Rays of Sunshine.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Dick Rex and Joe Rex.

She was a member of the Sugar Grove United Methodist Church, Ada, a 50-year member of the Liberty Grange #2526 of Ada, a Seventh Degree Grange member, a member of the Hardin County Pomona Grange, a member of the Farm Bureau Council #31 of Hardin County and a volunteer at Lima Memorial Hospital.

Services were held Tuesday, May 20 at the Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Ada, with the Rev. Laura Raypholtz-Clark officiating. Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery, Ada [OHIO].

A Grange Memorial Service was held Monday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the West Ohio Kidney Foundation.
