In Memory of 
Mrs. Sara Sally Wingrove 

Sara (Sally) Wingrove passed away peacefully, June 4, at her daughter's home in San Antonio, TX following a short illness. She was preceded in death by her husband, Byron F. Wingrove in 1981.
Byron earned a chemical engineering degree from NMSU in 1935. Before his retirement, Byron and Sally spent 12 years in Turkey where he negotiated, constructed and managed an oil refinery. He also trained the Turkish staff who assumed the management duties upon their departure. They retired and moved to Las Cruces in 1970.
Sally is survived by two daughters, Karen Wingrove of Denver, Colorado and Claudette Sumrall and husband, Orbin (Orb) of San Antonio; three grandchildren, Keith Dirsa of Georgia, Kellene from New Jersey, and Kirk Sumrall; one great granddaughter, Lacy Sumrall.
