Gerald E Bud Morris

Gerald E. "Bud" Morris, 60, Topeka, died Saturday, Sept. 15, 2001, at home.

He was born Dec. 6, 1940, in Topeka, to Earl and Doris Clayburg  Morris, and attended Topeka Public Schools. He was a journeyman  painter in Costa Mesa, Calif. He later worked for B J Fibers in Santa  Ana, Calif., 18 years. He returned to Topeka about 15 years ago.  He worked for I-70 Auto Auction the past few years.

He married Roberta Nason on March 18, 1958, in Hutchinson. They were divorced. He married Sandy Pancost in 1975 in California. They were divorced. A son, Timothy James Morris, died Aug. 21, 1994.

Survivors include a companion, Claudia Willyard, Topeka; two  sons, Gordon Morris and Aaron Morris, both in Topeka; three  daughters, Jerri Dockstader, Glasco, Catherine Morris, Lawrence,  and Stephanie Morris-Wingrove, Eureka, Calif.; his stepfather and  his mother, Gordon and Doris Millard, Topeka; a sister, Bonnie  Epling, Topeka; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Mr. Morris was cremated. No services are planned. Inurnment will  be private.

Penwell-Gabel Highland Chapel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
