In Memory of 
Jonathan Eldon McCoy

Jonathan Eldon McCoy of Mount Hope, WV, departed this life July 5, 2003, at Montgomery General Hospital, Montgomery, WV, from injuries received in an accident.

He was born April 23, 1993, in Mooresville, NC, a son of Jennifer Elaine (Douglas) Bowyer of Mount Hope, WV, and the late Bruce Eldon McCoy.

Jonathan was an honor student at Mount Hope Elementary School, where he was a member of the fifth grade class. He enjoyed playing soccer.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his step-father, Matthew Bowyer, and a brother, Travis Wayne McCoy, all of Mount Hope, paternal grandparents, Eldon and Loretta McCoy of Murraysville, maternal grandparents, Kenneth and Elsie Ayers of Ravenswood, paternal great-grandmother, Melva Wingrove of Pt. Pleasant, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services will be on Wednesday, July 9, 2003, at 2:00 p.m., at Casto Funeral Home, Ravenswood, WV, with the Rev. Darrell Prater officiating. Entombment will follow in Jackson County Memory Gardens Mausoleum, Cottageville, WV. Visitation is from 1:00 until time of service.
