Mabel W Wingrove

 

LONG BRANCH -- Mabel Williams Wingrove, 86, died Friday, Jan. 27, 1997, in a Beckley hospital following a long illness. Born Dec. 19, 1910, at Price Hill, she was the daughter of the late Stewart and Hattie Harmon Williams. Mrs. Wingrove was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Emery Wingrove; three sons, Clarence, Richard and Ronald Wingrove; two brothers and a sister. Survivors include two daughters, Nancy Elmore of Long Branch and Dora Jean Conner of Oak Hill; four sons, James "Jimmy" Wingrove of Bradley, Howard Wingrove of Sophia, Marvin Wingrove of Crab Orchard and Larry Wingrove of Richmond, Va.; three sisters, Margaret Ross and Opal Massie, both of Glen Jean and Freda Cox of Kilsyth; 23 grandchildren and 37 great grandchildren. 

Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Tyree Funeral Home Chapel, Mount Hope, with Rev. Lee Kendrick officiating. Burial will follow in Wingrove Family Cemetery, Long Branch. Friends may call 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Arrangements by Tyree Funeral Home, Mount Hope.
