G Clifford Kinneer, 100, a longtime resident of Acme, died Monday, June 9, 2003, in Hilltop Manor Nursing Home, Donegal. He was born Nov. 23, 1902, in Hammondville, a son of the late Emory and Catherine Wingrove Kinneer. Prior to retirement, Clifford worked as a farmer and timberman. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lillian Mae Brown Kinneer; three sons, Elton, Domer and Neil E. Kinneer; three brothers, Ellis, Elgie and J.D. Kinneer; and three sisters, Ethel Hudkins, Nellie Murray and Nettie Kreinbrook. Surviving are his loving family: three sons, Bryce Kinneer and his wife, Florence, Raymond Kinneer and his wife, Elvira, and Reed Kinneer and his wife, Iva, all of Acme; two daughters, Mary Kathryn Keslar, of Acme (with whom he resided), and Norma Myers and her husband, Edward, of Kecksburg; 25 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; 22 great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Orval Kinneer and his wife, Gail, of Alverton, and Charles Kinneer and his wife, Wilda, of Connellsville; and three sisters, Bernetha Coffman, of Champion, Ora Miller, of Scottdale, and Evadell Kreinbrook, of Laurelville. Family and friends will be received Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2 to 9 p.m. at the CLYDE BROOKS FUNERAL HOME INC., Route 711, Melcroft, where service will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Leroy C. Kesler officiating. A committal service and interment will follow in Brown Cemetery.
