MARGARET PEG C. KEENER

Margaret 'Peg' C. Keener of Newburgh, NY, a retired supervisor for Sears Catalog Department and lifelong resident of the area, died Tuesday, Feb. 23, 1999, in St. Luke's Hospital, Newburgh. She was 91. The daughter of the late Hugh and Johanna Dillon O'Neill, she was born Sept. 20, 1907, in Newburgh. She was the widow of Earl Keener. She was a member of St. Patrick's Church, Newburgh. Survivors include one daughter, Joan Marie Astalos of Newburgh; one brother, James S. O'Neill of New Windsor; one
sister, Ellen M. O'Neill of Newburgh; two granddaughters, Lynn Foster of Walden and Lezle Haslam of Wallkill; two great- granddaughters, Amanda and Meaghan Foster; two nieces, Peggy Patsalos and Linda Wingrove; and several great-nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one sister, Sarah O'Neill McPartlon. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 25, in St. Patrick's Church, Grand St., Newburgh. Monsignor John Budwick will officiate. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, New Windsor. 

Arrangements were made by DiDonato-Brooks Funeral Home, 481 Gidney Ave., Newburgh.
