Ivy Hill

Ivy B. Hill, 92, of Latrobe, died Thursday, July 25, 1996, in the Latrobe Area Hospital. She was born July 27, 1903, in Pleasant Unity, a daughter of the late William and Sara Wingrove Bronson. She was a charter member of the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Latrobe. She retired from the G. C. Murphy Company with 29 years service and also was employed by the Jamison 20 Coal and Coke Company with 17 years of service. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George S. Hill; a stepson, James A. Hill; seven brothers, Frank, Theodore, Lee, Amon, Bert, Samuel and Edward Bronson; four sisters; Lillian Auckerman, Fairy Hutter, Dolly Bronson and Ethel Bronson. She is survived by a number of nieces and nephews.

 Friends will be received Friday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the JOHN J. LOPATICH FUNERAL HOME INC., 601 Weldon St., Latrobe. Funeral Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, Latrobe, with the Rev. William E. Ordelt Jr. officiating. Interment in Unity Cemetery, Unity Township.
