In Memory of 
Alma Hofmann 

PARKERSBURG - Alma Hofmann, 82, of Parkersburg died Dec. 13, 2003, at her residence. 

She was born in Waverly, a daughter of the late Jessie and Lyda Wingrove Lynch. 

She was a member of the Cornerstone Gospel Church in Vienna. Her accomplishments include working at The Shoe Factory and the Rigg and Reel Co. during World War II. The remainder of her years were spent as a homemaker, wife and mother. Her favorite activity was crocheting afghans.

Survivors include her spouse of 57 years, Harold Hofmann of Parkersburg; daughter, Pamela Chute and spouse, James, of Parkersburg; sister, Doris Smith of Charleston; brother, Delbert Lynch and spouse, Connie, of Waverly; granddaughter, Brooke Harris and spouse, Mike, of Parkersburg; three great grandchildren, Matt, Katie and Anthony Harris; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Vilas, Dale and Darrell Lynch; and one sister, Enid Breeze.

Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg, with the Rev. Mark Wilding officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen North Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
