Mrs. Mary Jane Mamie Hanson Wingrove

 OTTERVILLE - Mrs. Mary Jane (Mamie) Wingrove, of Otterville, ON, passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Fred Hill, R. R. 1 Norwich, on Friday, January 24, 1975, following several months illness. She was 82 years old.

Born at Hawtrey, she was the daughter of the late William Hanson and the former Sarah Arthur. Her husband Earnest Wingrove, passed away in 1956.

The late Mrs. Wingrove attended the Otterville Baptist Church and was a member of the Otterville Women's Institute.

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Charter (Norma) Davis, R. R. 1 Otterville; Mrs. Fred (Dorothy) Hill, R. R. 1 Norwich and Mrs. Ross (Pauline) Taylor R. R. 3 Norwich; one brother, Alex Hanson, R. R. 2, Otterville; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Three sisters and one brother predeceased her.

Mrs. Wingrove rested at the Nelson F. Gleason Funeral Home, Otterville where service was held on Monday Jan 27, 1975, conducted by Pastor David Blayney of the Otterville Baptist Church, assisted by Mr. William Smith of Binbrook Ont.

During the service, Mrs. Jack Walther sang a solo "Beyond The Sunset' accompanied by Mrs. William Butler, pianist for the service.

Among the Memorial tributes were donations to The Gideon Bible, Canadian Cancer and Heart Foundation.

Casket bearers , grandsons of deceased were: David Hill, Dwight Davis, Brian Davis, Alex Davis, Kenneth Taylor and Ronald Goodale. 

Interment was in the Otterville Cemetery, Otterville, Ontario.
