ANNA, Ill. -- Sidney N. Frick, 68, of Anna died Tuesday, March 1, 2005, at his home. 

He was born June 26, 1936, in Jonesboro, Ill., son of Everett C. and Allie Brown Frick. He and Carol N. Wingrove were married Nov. 8, 1958, in Chicago. 

Frick was an honorary member of Carroll P. Foster VFW Post 3455 in Anna, Anna Moose Lodge 1346, Anna Masonic Lodge 52 AF&AM, Cobden American Legion Post 259 and Operating Engineers Local 318. 

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Christine Davis of Mount Washington, Ky., Nancy Brust of Evansville, Ill.; a son, Charles Frick of Oceanside, Calif.; six sisters, Betty Dickerson and Fern Dexter of Jonesboro, Bernice Kaupas, JoAnn Sanders, Carol Dillow and June Frick of Anna; and five grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and a sister. 

Friends may call at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna after 6 p.m. Friday. Masonic rites will be at 7:30. 

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with Kim Capel officiating. Burial will be in Anna City Cemetery, with full military honors by VFW Post 3455.
