Mrs. Harley E. Rowland,77,a former resident of the Barlow
Community, Washington County, died Tuesday in a rest home in Elyria. The former
Eva Freshwater, she was born at Waverly WV April 9,1884. a daughter of
William and Phoebe H. Hendershot Freshwater.
Her Husband who she married July 8,1908, preceded her in death on Feb 16,1958.
She is survived by one son, Denver of Elyria; two grandchildren;
six great grandchildren, a brother Jacob Freshwater of Reddy WV,
and three sisters, Mrs. Josephine WINGROVE

of Waverly
WV, Mrs Ella Lane of Robinson IL, and
Mrs. Mary Cross of near
McConnellsville.
The body is at the Fawcett-Stone Funeral Home here where friends may call after noon today.
Service will be held at 2:pm Friday, from the funeral home with the Rev. Earl Snyder
officiating. Burial will be in Dale Cemetery

Mrs Eva Rowland,77,died yesterday at 6;40 pm in the Ferry Nursing Home.1015
Ave. where she had been a patient a year. She was born April 9,1884, in Ogden
WV, and had lived in this area since 1951. Her husband, Harley, died in February 1958.
Survivors are a son, Denver, of Elyria. Two grandchildren, six great grandchildren and three
sisters, Mrs Ella Lane, Robinson Ill.

Jacob Freshwater, Redley WV The body was sent today from Emmerich Funeral
Home, Amherst, to the Stone Funeral Home, Chesterville Ohio, for services Friday at 2pm.
Burial will be in Dale Cemetery, Stockport, Ohio.
