Florence E Haney Bassinger

Florence E. Bassinger, 67, of Republic, died Monday, Nov. 8, 1993, in the Uniontown Hospital.

She was born March 10, 1926, in Brownsville, a daughter of the late Jesse and Mary Margaret Newcomer Haney. She was a homemaker and was Protestant by faith.

Surviving are two sons, Benjamin F. II of Daisytown, Pa., and George E. of Cleveland, Oh.; four daughters, Naome R. Leonard of Irwin, Mary C. Worry and Betty L. Sullivan, both of Republic and Barbara A. Parker of Youngstown, Oh.; a brother, Kenneth E. Haney of Lemont Furnace; two sisters, Mary Catherine Long of Uniontown, and Wilma Crow of Merrittstown; 13 granchildren; 11 gr. grand children and nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her first husband, Benjamin F. Bassinger in 1965; second husband, Howard H. Woods in 1991; two sons Charles Allen, and Harold Lee Basinger; brothers Lloyd and Benjamin F. Haney; one infant granddaughter.

 Interment at Lafayette Cemetery., Briar Hill.
