Dear father of Dawn Masters and husband David, Leamington; Erin Ferguson and husband Arnold, Leamington; Lionel Collison and wife Lynn, Kingsville; Brian Collison, Leamington. Loving grandfather of Lindsay, Sarah, Kayla, Courtney, Steven, Kristy and James. Dear brother of Bertha Botbyl, Michigan; Barbara Grant, Essex; Mary Dusseau, Michigan. Predeceased by brothers, Gerald (1922) and Jimmie (1998), parents, Alexander (1968) and Pearl (nee Girardin)(1995) Collison, grandparents George Maxon and Bertha (nee Firman) Girardin, great grandparents, Francis Xavier and Suzanne (nee Delaurier) Girardin, Usual Ogden and Martha (nee Wingrove) Firman and great great grandparents, Charles and Florence (nee Lesperance) Delaurier, Jean Baptiste and Archange (nee Tiriaque) Girardin, James and Lucy Jane (nee Shephard) Wingrove, Abraham and Hannah Firman. Alfred is a descendent of Joachim Girard, born 1642, Evereux, France, married September 27, 1660, Quebec to Mary Halay. Alfred's family were among the first settlers of Point Pelee. Visiting at the Reid Funeral Home 14 Russell Street, Leamington on Tuesday 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service to celebrate Alfred's life from the Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 17, 2002 at 1 p.m. William Masters officiating. Interment Erie Memorial Gardens, Leamington. Memorial donations made by cheque to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
