 In Memory of 
MARY ANN (Clark) KERSEY

Mary Ann Clark widow the late Edward Kersey, died at the home of her son John, on St. Clair street, on Sunday evening,
June 10. She was in her 81st year and was one of Warwick townships most highly respected pioneer women. She was born In
1847 in Warwick and was the eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Clark. Practically her whole life was spent in this 
township. Her husband predeceased her last September. Three sons survive Herbert and John of Watford, and Freeman of
Georgetown: also two brothers Edward and James Clark, and two sisters. Mrs. Nelson Wingrove, Burford, and Mrs. Alex.
Robinson, Deckerville. Mich. The funeral was held on Tuesday afternoon and was private. Rev. J. H. Hosford had charge of
the service and interment was made in Watford cemetery. Among those from a distance who attended the funeral were Mr. and
Mrs. Freeman Kersey, Georgtown: Mr. Roy Donn, Aberfeldy: Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Doan, Inwood; Jonathon Kersey, Edys
Mills; Mr. and Mrs. Bockman. Mr. and Mrs. Robt. Ervin and Mr. Wm. Robinson of Deckerville, Mich., and Mrs, Nelson
Wingrove of Burford, Ont. Mrs. Alex. RobInson of Deckerville was unable to attend on account of illness.
