Christine Snyder

 

Christine L. Snyder, 77, of Connellsville, died Saturday, Aug. 1, 1998, at Mt. St. Macrina Manor in Uniontown. She was born Oct. 7, 1920, in Connellsville, a daughter of the late Harry and Christina Jagioka Lane. She was a lifelong resident of the Connellsville area. Prior to her retirement, she worked as a selector for the Anchor-Hocking Glass Corp. in South Connellsville, and was a member of the Glass Bottle Blowers Association. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, James A. Snyder; two daughters, Mrs. Richard (Dorothy) Rizza of Connellsville and Donna Wingrove and fiance, Frank Sabula, of Uniontown; a son, James F. Snyder and wife, Pinkey, of Connellsville; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Frank Lane of Irwin, Donald Lane of Scottdale and William Lane of Connellsville; and a sister, Mrs. Donald (Florence) Warrick of Connellsville. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a grandson, Geoffrey Barron; sisters, Bea Woconish and Dolly Christansen; and brothers, Joseph Lane, Harry Lane, Jack Lane and Kenneth Lane. 

Friends will be received at the BROOKS FUNERAL HOME INC., 111 E. Green St., Connellsville, today from 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Dr. Marvin C. Watson officiating. Committal and interment will follow in Green Ridge Memorial Park.
