Charles Wadsworth

 

Charles E 'Woody' Wadsworth, 67, of Wyano, died Friday, Dec. 17, 1999, at home. He was born Jan. 28, 1932, in Bullskin Township, a son of the late Jay and Elva Wingrove Wadsworth. He retired from Swank Construction with 30 years of service. He was a member of Operating Engineers Local 66. Surviving are his wife of 50 years, Dolores  Harbaugh Wadsworth; six children, Sandra, Sally, Charles, James, Shelly and Jason; 14 grandchildren, Michael, Dawn, Lee, Scott, Ivan, Charles, Aurielle, Stefanie, Robin, Dolores, Daylene, Caitlin, Jacob and Nicholas; four great-grandchildren, Aaron, Caleb, Kyle and Sarah; and a sister, Evelyn Miller. 

Friends will be received at the J. WILLIAM McCAULEY JR. FUNERAL HOME INC., West Newton, Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the funeral home Monday at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. Kenneth Bossart officiating. Interment in Westmoreland County Memorial Park, Greensburg.
