YOST,
Evelyn - Passed away, on Friday, Oct. 19, 2001, at Knollcrest Lodge,
Milverton. She was born 82 years ago, in Damascus, Wellington County and
was the daughter of the late Luster and Maude (Taylor) Bowman.
Evelyn was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Milverton. She was a
charter member of the Royal Canadian Legion Ladies Auxiliary Branch 565,
Milverton and was also a member of the Sewing Circle. Evelyn enjoyed
quilting, crocheting, knitting, painting, ceramics and her flowers.
Beloved wife of B. Harry Yost, who she married August 2, 1941. Dear
mother of Doris and her husband Nick Marusich of Burlington,
David and his wife Mag Yost of London, Cathy and her
husband Doug Baier of Baden, Jim and his wife Jackie Yost
of Milverton. Sadly missed by 11 grandchildren and two
great-grandchildren. Remembered by her brothers, Jim Bowman and Jack
and his wife Aileen Bowman, all of Guelph. Also missed by her
sister-in- law, Marg Bowman; brothers-in-law, Gord
Wingrove of North Bay, Robert McLean and Don Small,
both of Fergus. Evelyn was predeceased by sisters, Pearl and her
husband Owen Davey, Betty Wingrove, Mildred and her husband Frank
Klees, Gladys McLean and Frances Small and her brothers, Stan
and his wife Frances, Lloyd and Russel. Family and friends
may call at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 7 Spencer St., Milverton on
Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The service will be held on Monday, Oct. 22, 2001
at 2 p.m. at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Milverton, Pastor Dwight
Biggs officiating. Interment to follow in Greenwood Cemetery,
Milverton. As expressions of sympathy, do nations may be made to St.
Peter's Lutheran Church, Knollcrest Lodge or the Canadian Cancer Society.
