Michael WINGROVE
is the Webmaster of this site. He started life in
Brantford Ontario Canada over half a century ago.His
education includes: The Hard Knocks of the School of Life, Teachers' College, University of McMaster B. A. Psychology,
University of
Toronto, Brock University and Mohawk College in Art Education.
He retired after 30 years
of teaching in Hamilton Ontario. His
start was in the elementary sector, teaching all subjects from Kindergarten through to
Grade Eight. Also acting as a Special Education Resource, Library Resource and Woodworking
Teacher. He transferred to the Secondary sector acting as Special Education Resource
teacher, and a subject teacher of English, Mathematics, History, Science, Visual Arts,
Keyboarding, Woodworking and teaching Photography as a
Fine Art at the Secondary level.
Your webmaster worked for several years in Genealogy groups
assisting in the formation of the Brant County Branch of the Ontario Genealogy Society. He
served as Newsletter Editor, Publisher and Branch Chairman of that group. Many of his
publications can be found in the National Archives of Ontario & local
libraries across Canada and the United States
