William Alfred "Bill' Wingrove, peacefully at McMaster on Tuesday 23 Dec 1997 of Dundas in his 81st year. Husband of Marjorie (nee Robinson) and father of Allen and his wife Milene of Toronto and Douglas of Guelph.
Sadly missed by 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren and his sister Evelyn Page of Mountsberg.
Bill Wingrove retired from Wentworth Lodge in 1982 after 21 years as Administator. Warden of Wentworth County in 1960. Lifetime members of Mountsberg Baptist Church; past master of Campbell Lodge #603, Past District Grand Master of Hamilton Masonic District A and past President of Ontario Association of Non-Profit Homes & Services for Seniors' the Dundas Rotary Club; Dundas Bowling Club and Dundas Curling Club.
At Cattel Easton and Chambers Funeral Home. 53 Main St., Dundas Sat 2-4 7-9 Funeral service Sunday at Mountsberg Baptist Church at 3:00 pm. Interment at Mountsberg Baptist Church Cemetery.
