I was searching the web site, "http://TheShipslist.com", when I came across a ship called, "Brig Wingrove" that arrived in the port of Quebec, May 14, 1846

when a fleet of British ships under the command of Admiral Earl Howe in  'Queen Charlotte' (100 guns) engaged the Spanish fleets on 1st June 1794.

Currently resides in Canberra, Australia.
Son of  David Wingrove, residing in South Australia (our birthplace),
Joined the Royal Australian Navy in the 1980's  at the age of 15 as an apprentice comm's technician and  served until June 1995, completing 9 years. The main ship  served on was HMAS Tobruk that's currently still in use. Robert is currently at the Australian National University
