McINTOSH, Ethel (Lounsbury) - At the Townsview Life Care Centre, on Tuesday, January 13, 1998, in her 95th year. Ethel McIntosh was a lifelong resident of Stoney Creek. Beloved wife of the late Robert Burns McIntosh. Dear mother of Roy McIntosh of Emsdale, Norma and her husband Gordon Tuttle of California, Jean and her husband Bud Craig of Grimsby. Lovingly remembered by 17 grandchildren, 23 great-grand-children and 2
great-great-grand-children. Predeceased by her grand-daughter, Norma Jean. Dear sister of Ransom Lounsbury of
Hamilton, Kathleen Mackid of Stoney Creek, George Lounsbury of Stoney Creek, Connie Lewis of Winona. Predeceased by sisters, Gladys Brunton, Dora Bertram and Ruth Calladine. Ethel was a member of the Stoney

Thomas-Elgin General Hospital, in her 77th year, was conducted on Tuesday last at the United Church, Port Rowan, at .2:30
p.m., by Rev. M. R. Brown.
Pallbearers were Hugh Cronk, Leighton, Cronk, Wilfred Barber, Fred Berry, Arthur Foy and Cordon Lane. Flower bearers
were, Vern Alward, Murray Trickett, Wray Dedrick, Ken Lounsbury, Roy Lounsbury, Clayton Bouck, Stanley Chamberlain.

Mrs. Alice Maude Hazen of Port Rowan died Saturday in the St, Thomas-Elgin General Hospital in her 77th year.
The former Alice Maude Lounsbury, her husband, Robert Hazen, predeceased her in 1938.
Survivors are two sons, Robert L. Hazen of Port Dover; Benjamin Edward Hazen of Port Rowan; two sisters, Mrs. Annie
Hazen of Port Rowan; Mrs. Archie (Eva) Hutchinson of Regina, Sask.; and 11 grandchildren.
Rested at the Clark Funeral Home, Port Rowan, thence to Neal Memorial United Church where services were conducted on
Tuesday.
Interment in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Walsingham.

PORT ROWAN: Of interest to many people of the Port Rowan area was the golden wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs.
Arch Hutchinson of Regina, Sask. The couple were honored by their family and friends at a come-and-go tea at their home.
Mr. and Mrs. Hutchinson spent their early years in the Port Rowan district Mrs. Hutchinson is the former Eva Lounsbury and
the sister of Mrs. Alice Hazen and Mrs. Annie Hazen of Port Rowan. Mr. Hutchinson is the brother of Mrs. S. Shafer of
Hamilton and Lloyd Hutchinson of St. Williams.
The couple were married in Simcoe on March 21,1912. They moved to Saskatchewan that spring and farmed in the district of
Milestone and Gray until their retirement to Regina in 1951. They have one daughter, two sons and seven grandchildren, all of
whom were present for the occasion.
Messages of congratulations were received from Prime Minister John G. Diefenbaker, and Ken More, M.P., Mayor H. Baker
of Regina was present and presented a plaque from the city. Out of town guests included Mrs Annie Hazen of Port Rowan,
Mrs. Whitney Townsend of Walsingham, and Mr. and Mrs. Murray McDougall of Prince Albert, Sask.
