Mrs. Ella Wingrove Ellsworth 73, wife of
Fernando
Ellsworth died at the family home late Friday afternoon after an acute heart attack.
She was born August 15, 1865, in Langton Ontario, Canada
to Thomas and Mary Hunt Wingrove, was schooled there and at the age of 17, after moving to Alpena, Michigan began teaching school. She
came to Ogden in 1891 and taught in West Ogden, Salt Lake City, Burch Creek and in other schools in Weher and Box Elder counties.
She and Mr. Ellsworth were married in Ogden on May 23, 1908. She was also a piano teacher.
Surviving besides her husband are three sisters, Mrs.
Susie Mathews and Mrs. Rosa Manning, Alpena Mich. and Miss
Ada C Wingrove, Ogden.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday at two o'clock
in the
Kirkendall-Darling mortuary chapel by the Rev. Walter L. French of the
First Methodist church. Friends may call at the chapel Sunday afternoon and evening until nine o'clock and Monday until time of services. Interment
will be in Mountain View cemetery.
