Christopher L Wingrove [born
July 29,1962]
A 20-year old Port Rowan area man died when the tractor he was
driving was in collision with a freight train at a railroad crossing in
Tillsonburg. Dead is Chris
Wingrove, 20 of RR1 Port Rowan. Chris
Wingrove was operating a tractor with a rotary brush-sweeping attachment
at the level crossing on Spruce Street when the collision occurred with
the rear of the freight train.
Chris Wingrove was born in Simcoe, July 29, 1962 and was an employee of
Cayuga Quarries. He was a graduate of East Elgin Secondary School Alymer.
Surviving are his parents Charles [LaRoy]
and Betty [Bouck] Wingrove
of Port Rowan, three sisters, Mrs. Allen (Kathy) Cain of Tillsonburg, Mrs.
Lloyd (Lynne) Catt of Alymer and Miss Penni
Wingrove at home; his grandparents, John and
Norma Bouck of Port Rowan; his great grandmother Mrs. Jessie Bouck of
Simcoe and several aunts and uncles.

in Fairfield Cemetery,
