Here is the family history data that was written in the back of the
book handwritten Civil War reminiscences of Albert Wingrove of Kansas:
Albert Wingrove and Eliza B. Shotwell married December 3, 1873.
Albert Wingrove born March 25, 1848
Eliza B. Wingrove born August 26, 1852
Maude M. Wingrove born January 22, 1875
Cora C. born September 7, 1876
Harry born August 5, 1878
Francis Ola born May 26, 1888...died Feb 11, 1889 after an illness of about three weeks at the age of 8 months and 15 days.
Jobe March 3, 1891
Cora C. Wingrove and Roy Neil Rahn married Feb. 14, 1895
Maude C. Wingrove and George S. Pickham October 3, 1895
Then there are two last entries:
Albert Wingrove April 22, 1923. operated on for gallstones by Dr. J. W. Perkins University Hospital,
K. C., Mo. aged 75 years & 22 days.
Harry Wingrove died January 16, 1947, heart attack.

Family lore tells me that a Wingrove did jump ship at Vancouver while in the Royal Navy and traveled to Kansas.
