The Harlan News Advertiser (Harlan, Iowa) 1964 September 28
ACCIDENTS
PORTSMOUTH - Four Manning persons were injured in a two car collision
three miles north of here on Highway 191 Saturday morning,
Sept 19. Involved were Robert Carl Stein, 22,
Portsmouth, who was traveling north, and Daniel
H Wingrove, 63, Manning going south. Wingrove and
one passenger William Whitcher, 82, were bruised in the
mishap, while Mrs. Whitcher, 79 suffered a wrist
fracture and Mrs. Wingrove
received a neck injury. All were treated at the Harlan
hospital. Stein was not injured.

Mr. and Mrs. Jim Wingrove and children of Council
Bluffs were weekend guest of the parental Daniel
Wingrove home. They attended the reunion of the class
of 1953 at Manning and also visited relatives in this area.

The Harlan News Advertiser (Harlan, Iowa) 1961 March 21
Relatives were informed of a birth of a baby boy to
Mr. and Mrs. James Wingrove of Council Bluffs on
Thursday morning, March 16.He has been named Michael
James Wingrove. They now have a daughter and a son.
