JAMES WARREN LUDERS

Living.
Jim is the second oldest of four children
born to Albert and Johanna Luders.

His siblings: William, Dianne and Robert (1945-2003).
Bob died Jan. 11, 2003 at age 57.

Second Generation
ALBERT OTTO LUDERS

Living.
Al is the oldest of four children
born to Alvilda and Otto Luders.

His siblings: Mary, Harold and Vergal (1928-2003).
Vergal died Aug. 17, 2003 at age 75.

JOHANNA MARGARET ABBEN

Johanna was born March 8, 1921, in Bristow, Iowa,
daughter of Dirk Abben and Roelfke Diddens. She died
Nov. 5, 1988, in Cedar Falls, Iowa. She is buried in
the Zion Lutheran Church cemetery near Hudson, Iowa.
Johanna "Jo" was one of 12 children.

Her siblings: Dick, Ed, Ralph, Ben, Gephard "Rogge,"
Charlotte "Lottie," Hattie, Geraldine "Gerry," Minnie,
Kathryn "Kate," Effie.
All are deceased except Effie. Two died
in 2003: Gephard died July 13 and Lottie died Oct. 17. She was 98.

Third Generation
OTTO LUDERS

Otto was born Oct. 5, 1877, in Reinbeck, Iowa.
He was a member of the German Lutheran Church, Reinbeck.
He died Feb. 14 (or 16), 1940, in Sartori Hospital,
Cedar Falls, Iowa, from complications following a dynamite
explosion west of town. Burial: Greenwood Cemetery, Cedar Falls,
Iowa.

SIBLINGS:

sister, Mrs. Hayward Bassett: resided in Mason City, Iowa, in 1940
brother, William: resided in Traer, Iowa, in 1940.
A daughter, Evelyn G. Luders, was born Aug. 29, 1915.
She died Jan. 25, 1998 at 82 years of age.
Burial: Reinbeck Cemetery, Reinbeck, Iowa.
She married Raymond Thede (Living) and they
had four children, all Living.

Third Generation
ALVILDA JACOBSEN

Alvilda and Otto Luders had four children: a daughter and three sons, all Living.

Fourth Generation
THOMAS LUDERS

There is a large granite stone with the name LUDERS on it at the Amity Church Cemetery, located on Pioneer Road near Reinbeck, Iowa, in Tama County. To the left of the stone, is a very small granite one, with the word "Father" on it and the date Jan. 6, 1845. To the right of the large stone, is a much older stone, with the name "Amanda Tochter Von T & C.L. Luders," rest Dec. 1884, then 2 Jr. and 2 something else.
