Fifty years of life together
Through sever and sunny weather,
Fifty years of toil and care,
Burdens heavy, hard to bear.
Fifty years of joy and gladness
Intermingling with your sadness.
Fifty years God's love and care
All about you everywhere.
Fifty years in which to shoy (sic)
All His goodness here below.
God grant that in the years to come,
As he (sic) leads you gently home,
In your hearts you still can say
Life grows sweeter every day.
