"Mathias HOLSTEIN (Jr.), the son of Matthias CLASSON, alias HOLSTEIN, and his family resided in Upper Merion, Pa., in 1714, where they built a stone house in which mroe than four generations were born and lived. Brigitta HOLSTEIN was still living in 1754 when she was listed in the Census of nine Swedish families that formed the beginning of Christ Church. The Census showed that Brigitta, her sons and their families still spoke and read the Swedish language as well as English. Brigitta died by 1758, when her estate was administered."

records, she died at Swede's Ford [Upper Merion] [Anna M. Holstein,
Swedish Holsteins in America (Norristown, Pa., 1892)]."
