Records place him and John BUDD Jr., at first, in Hashamomack 1649; and June 9th, 1663, the BUDD home lot was recorded as at Tucker's Lane corner, Southold village. estate. James Hampton and his wife Jane's two eldest daughters were
Ann Hampton who married (1) Benjamin Moore and (2) Jeremiah
Vail.
Mary Hampton who married (1) John Mapham. They had a daughter
Abigail Mapham who married Charles Booth.
This Mary Hampton Mapham married (2) Benjamin Horton, son of
Barnabas in 1686. Benjamin Horton had married first Ann Tooker
or Tucker, widow, who was perhaps the daughter of John Budd
