Places named after family members

As bearers of this surname played an important role within their communities and were amongst the first settlers in the new colonies it is not surprising that they had places named after them.  This is a list of those I know of already with links to maps and other information if you ‘click’ on the name. They should open in a new window if not please use your 'back' button on your browser to return to this page.

I would love to know of more! More importantly do you know who they were named after?
