Filed Dec 11, 1812 [Signature of James Linn Clerk] -------------------------------------------------------- [Page 1 of Document] Chancery of New Jersey Between Asher Williamson and others Complainants Samuel Williamson, Executor of William Williamson Dec’d Defendant Exceptions taken by the Defendant to the Report of James [Linn] Esquire, one of the masters of the Court, made in this cause and bearing date on the 23 October 1812. [For] that the said Master hath in and by the said report, reported and allowed the sum of Forty Five pounds as a reasonable average annual rent for the farm mentioned in the Decree of the Chan cellor in this cause, and hath reported and allowed the sum of Two Thousand Seven hundred and sixty Dollars as the amount of the rents of the said farm as the said average annual rent, whereas the said sum of Forty Five pounds is much more than a reasonable average annual rent, and the said sum of Forty five pounds and of Two Thousand Seven hundred and Sixty Dollars are not warranted by the Testimony [intro duced before the said master and ought not to have been reported and allowed: In all which particulars the said De: :fendant doth accept to the said report and humbly appealed therefrom to the judgment of this Honorable Court.
