MILITARY: He enlisted as a private in Co. A, 7th Kentucky Inf. Regt. CSA. on Sept. 18, 1861 . he was with his company when they surrendered on Apr.10, 1865 and was paroled on May 15, 18 65 at Sema, Ala.
Thomas married Lucy Susanna TAYLOR, daughter of James TAYLOR and Phoebe Flournoy ROBERTS, on 10 Nov 1868 in Graves Co., KY. (Lucy Susanna TAYLOR was born on 18 Apr 1844 in Graves Co., KY. 1, died on 13 May 1932 1 and was buried in Boaz Chapel Cemetery, Hickman Co., KY..)
