From the Book Descendants of John Michael kreider

No marriage record has been located, but census records list David's wife as Sarah. born 1811 in Kentucky. Two of their sons bore the middle name Walker. indicating that may have been Sarah's surname. There was a Walker family in nearby Carroll County.

Sarah married David CRIDER, son of George CRIDER and Frances BENNETT. (David CRIDER was born about 1804 in Pittsylvania Co., VA. 3.)
