This family tree shows the little we know about our grand children's ancestors who came to England from the Russian Empire during the last part of the nineteenth century. I should particularly like to hear from anyone who has more information about them or who has themselves researched in Belarus, Poland or Moldova,
Their names and forenames were sometimes changed or adapted and were not always spelled consistently on English-language documents . Please note that in the Russian alphabet there is no distinction between Rubinstein with an "i" and Rubenstein with an "e".
I have not intentionally included information on any living person. You can explore the past members of the family by using the buttons at the top of each page to search through the surname index or look at the family tree charts. Clicking on any name in a chart will lead to that person's details. You'll find direct ancestors marked with a tree icon.
If this is also your family or you are just interested, please explore. This web version of our tree provides only basic details. For fuller information and sources, contact me and I'll be happy to discuss them.
