St. Gertrude's Cemetery is located on a hill behind St. Gertrude's Convent between the towns of Cottonwood and Keuterville in Idaho County, ID.

This photo shows a portion of the cemetery at St. Gertrude's Convent with some of the more recent burials in the front and the chapel in the back.  Sr. Alfreda's gravestone is the second marker from the left in the second row from the front.

Yellow fawn lilies grow wild within and around the cemetery.  This one was growing right next to Sr. Alfreda's grave marker.  Sr. Alfreda earned her M.S. in botany from the University of Idaho and wrote about the flora of the Camas Prairie.
