     Ellen Ratcliffe was born in 1879 at Langtree.1,2 She was the daughter of James Ratcliffe and Ellen Woodcock. She was listed as a member of the household of James Ratcliffe in the 1881 census at Preston Road, Langtree.3 Ellen Ratcliffe died on 8 March 1888 at age 9 years.4 She was buried after 8 March 1888 at St. Marie of the Annunciation, Standish.4
