born in Halifax, Nova Scotia. I grew up in a small fishing village

named Port Medway which is in Queens County on the south shore of

Nova Scotia. In 1997 I moved to Ottawa. One of my main hobbies has

always been researching my family background. I started to research it in

1989 and I have compiled quite a bit of data since then. The purpose for

me creating this genealogy website is to be able to share with everybody the

family research I have done over the years. I hope it will help people with

the research of their family trees and also I hope to gather more

information on my family lines to make them more complete.
