Leonard HENLEY
According to an article in the William and Mary Quarterly, Vol. 5, p. 38 and Vol. 3, p. 65, Leonard was granted 300 acres on October 26, 1694 in James City County, VA, 175 of which as the heir to his father Reynolds Henley. Leonard's will was written September 10, 1759, proved October 19, 1761 in Blissland Parish, New Kent, VA. He was listed as a member of the Vestry that year.
Leonard married Elizabeth RICHARDSON, daughter of Richard RICHARDSON and Unknown, about 1700 in New Kent, VA. (Elizabeth RICHARDSON was born about 1680.) |
