He lived several years at Popeville, where he was employed by the firm of Isaiah Pope and Co. as chief carpenter and builder. He afterwards moved to Little Falls, where he establishe himself in business as an undertaker, and conducted that business with success until his death. He was an honored member of the Friends' Society and died highly respected by all who knew him.
