Sally was daughter of Nathaniel Stacey (1752-1827) and Mehitabel "Mabel" Beach (1752-1825) she was also a twin to Chloe Stacey. (ICH: I beleive I have found Mary (Wetsel) Ames widow of Josiah still alive and living in 1870 at age 95 in Weesaw township, Berrien, MI in the Ashbery Glidden household, right next door to her daugther Mary Jane {Ames} Glidden), Ashbery Glidden was brother of Greenleaf the husband of Mary Jane (Ames) Glidden.

Mary Jane married 21 June 1842 near Randolph, Cattaraugus, NY to Greenleaf "Gridley" Glidden who was born 12 June 1819 at Clarendon, Orleans, NY and died 15 Apr 1893 at Buchanan, Berrien, MI. Greenleaf was son of Ira Glidden (1796-1861) and Betsey Farwell (1802-1868). Children of Mary Jane and Greenleaf: Ira Spencer; Betsey Ann and Elliott Eugene.

1848 by son William Ames and proved 3 July 1848 at Randolph,
Cattaraugus, NY. Josiah in his will says he was 63 years old, which
would have him being born 1778. This date agrees with Frank F. Starr
papers on the Anthony Ames and Hannah Eells children. In his will
Josiah names his wife Mary and listed all children by name with their
spouse as shown above. Each heir received $1.00 except for son
William who received all his fathers property along with Josiah's
wife Mary.(I have copy)
